We offer a six week course of study in equine massage and bodywork especially for those of you who learn best in hands on working environment. You have many hours one on one experience learning with knowledgeable and compassionate instructors.
Equine massage and bodywork has fast become a viable profession and to be a skillful practitioner you have to know how to continue to study and learn about anatomy, physiology, pathology, saddle fit and proper hoof care. Equine bodywork and its supportive courses are an infinite work in progress as your experience grows and as you hone your skills you become a very valuable asset for equine athletes, their riders, and handlers.
With over 37 years of bodywork experience and training, I learn something new with every horse I meet, every owner is a bit different than the next and each partnership is unique. I have to have a lot of tools in order to be flexible and fit the needs of each partnership. It is important to enter the equine bodywork field with as much education as possible.
This course was created from the human massage model to help you build a solid foundation in the Art of Equine Massage and Bodywork. Upon completion it is our wish that you have the confidence in your education to go forward and create your dream of working with horses.
